Project Description:

The Lamb Street Bridge, A-16-012, located in the City of Attleboro, Massachusetts, carries Lamb Street over the Ten Mile River.  The scope of work for this project consisted of removing the existing superstructure in its entirety and replacing with new precast prestressed butted concrete beams.

Preliminary evaluation and study included the determination and selection of the most feasible and economically cost effective structure type.  Constructibility studies were performed to determine the most appropriate method of maintaining water flow within the required environmental constraints.

Commonwealth Engineers & Consultants, Inc.  was retained to conduct the preliminary studies and prepare final design plans, specifications and estimates for the superstructure replacement of this bridge, as well as the final construction inspection.
